​Affordable Housing rental properties are available for below 75% of the market rate.

​​​​​

To be eligible for affordable housing, at least one adult (18+ years) applicant must:

  • identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander

  • currently be employed (casual, part-time or full-time basis)

  • be a Northern Territory resident (or relocating to the NT for employment in a 'key service industry')

  • be able to provide rental & employment references

  • not currently own a property in the NT that meets their housing needs

If​ your application is unsuccessful; you are welcome to re-apply for future advertised properties. Unsuccessful applications are not kept on file and will be disposed of within five (5) days, as we do not maintain a waitlist.

How do I apply? 

The application form can be downloaded here. Please submit the completed form and supporting documents for all household members via email to info@yillihousing.com.au, or in person to 23 Callanan Road Yarrawonga (8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday).

Each adult household member will need to provide:

  • 100 points of identification

Proof of income, either;

  • at least 6 weeks' payslips or a current ATO income statement,

  • if self-employed, a recent BAS statement or profit & loss statement. Written references can be provided

For each household member under 18 years old:

  • Medicare card or Concession card that links the child/young person to an adult household member
