Other YRHAC Services

YRHAC provide affordable housing options to individuals and families who have trouble entering the mainstream rental market through the provision of 45 rental properties at its Berrimah estate complex.

YRHAC also manage 6 transitional properties in Palmerston. These properties are provided as a short term accommodation option to families awaiting priority public housing.

YRHAC work with some of the most disadvantaged in our community by providing emergency relief to Indigenous people and families with food vouchers, bond and bill assistance and emergency accommodation.

Improvement of housing and infrastructure on Indigenous communities in the Darwin region is also an important focus point for YRHAC with over three million dollars of building and upgrade works completed over the past two years.

In addition to this YRHAC provide training and employment options with a dedicated staff of over twenty Indigenous people in full or part time employment.
